To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). For the first time, the admission process for Delhi University was implemented and I was one of those from this batch who gave the central university entrance test(cuet) conducted by nta for the first time. Initially, it was very troublesome for us as it was new for us and we didn't use to understand exactly how the exam is going to be conducted, because it was a computer-based multiple choice questions exam from our 11-12th syllabus. There were no past papers even for reference because it was our first time. There were many loopholes in the system due to which many of us students got problems, but at last, everything was conducted well and we got our college. The application form for the same is available on the official website which is samarth.ac.in. I am a general student so I didn't get any benefit of reservation. i applied for all the colleges in my form and i got admission in shaheed bhagat Singh college as I consider it best one for commerce. Obviously, i didn't get selected for Shree ram college of commerce and i didn't preferred lady Shree ram because i wanted coed college. And i cleared the cut off of many colleges but among them shaheed bhagat singh was my best option as coed college also and obviously as administration also. i availed the obc quota and also many others colleges provides girls quota and sports quota etc but shaheed bhagat singh didnt provide girls quota so i availed only my obc quota. The admission criteria for my program (BCom Hons) were quite easy. You need to clear the cut off which is released by the university. Cut off goes up to 87-90% for obc . I got admission in the 4th cut-off in 91% marks. My percentage was 88.2 for 5 subjects but in my college (varies from college to college) 4 top subjects percentage was considered so my percentage of my best four was 91%....Read More

Delhi University is well known for scholars and students who are good in academics as well as who are usually the cream of the 12th pass batch.I have searched on random websites on Google regarding the top 10 colleges of DU and I want to join a Co-ed college so preferences were, Ssrc, ramjas, Hindu, Venkateshwar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. As being in a general category it was quite hard to get a North campus, so landed on South Campus. On further research and information, get to know that SBSC is good one for Bcom Hons. So I decided to join it. Further alot of things were attractive and fascinating towards the college.
