Hostel is the best thing I liked in college.
Furniture are too good in the college campus.
Ambience of the college is peaceful because it is located near tehri lake

Dislikes

Mess food is of very poor quality.you cannot eat food there.
Administration staff is not punctual at all.
There are no so much shops there that is limitation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is the fast-growing stream in today's world that's why I chose it. Faculties are less in terms of students sometimes one teacher has to take two subjects Teaching is good but not up to the mark. Term exams occur timely but they are medium hard to crack.

Internships Opportunities

Pie Infocomm offers developer tester and many other roles to all the branches of Computer, electrical, electronic, civil and mechanical For most of the companies, we have to go to different college campuses so that we can give interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike is very rare for many years. It was a semi-government college so their slight hike during the years was not very high. Nothing I got from college as Iam in the general category otherwise there are many scholarships for other categories like ews, obc, sc, st .

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are conducted under the same name i.e CIESZYC and it is conducted in the month of April. The library is too good you find every course-related book there and it is well mannered. The classroom is smart, and having projectors and furniture is also very good. There is a sports fest also there in the name spardha conducted in March and from time to time Ihet premier league is also organised on our campus

Admission

Admission to the college is only based on jee main score. There is a state counselling to which you have to apply and through that, you get into college according to your preference and marks. State counselling is Uttarakhand state counselling and has also counselling fees of 2000.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online. You need to register in UTU website uktech.ac.in and select choices of college for counseling.It includes all the govt engineering colleges in Uttarakhand. It is easy and good process....Read More
