Remarks

No bad things i ever remember about my college as i enjoyed my collge life to the fullest.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE and i score 199 rank i have chosen for computer science as i have the passion for new technologies to learn and i love to code.

Course Curriculum Overview

Data structure, software engg, ada, dbms, operating system, computer graphics, engineering mechanics, economics, english, maths physics, chemistry, electonics, electicals etc.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in new delhi in one of the software company i learned a lot from that internship my project guide was very generous he always try to give me some new ideas they were not paid me any stipend but food was free there.

Placement Experience

At that time many companies visited our campus and were very renowned companies like google, microsoft, Intel, yahoo, tcs, wipro, infosys, accenture, birlasoft, maruti, mahindra, tata motors and many more the package athey offered at that time were good enough like google offered 12 lacks, microsoft 10L, intel 9L and accenture 6L.

College Events

There were many events that were used to happen some of them were technical and some of them were cultural some of the events that happens those i remember were conflunce used to happen and it was atechnical events and some cultural events like samikha in which come comedians came like RAJU srivatava.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i was in a govt funded college my college fee was nominal so it was feasible it was 17000 for each semester and 7000 for the registration which was refundable but i got only refund of Rs500 i dont know why.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there were some types of scholarships were in the college but i was not in that race. I was a average student and i have never run to get these.

Campus Life

According to me that were my best time of my life we were a group of 7 8 students who used to go to markets and enjoyed the college life to the fulliest i always remember my college days.

Hostel Facilities

Initially we got the hostel on sharing basis we were four students in a room and then after some time one room was shared by 3 students for the first two years and from third year onward each student allotted a single room.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I am in contact with few of my colleagues as all are busy with their life some of them are near to my place and that's why i am in their contact but some of them are out of country so we are all active on facebook and whatsapp.

Exam Structure

Yea the exams were very strict as we used to appear for exams in just a week we didn't have any leave between the exams the labs were good.

Faculty

Faculty was good and very experienced some of the faculty members were very friendly and some were very strict but overall it was a very good experience.

i chose NIT Kurukshetra mainly because it's close to my home town and is considered one of the reputed colleges in Haryana. Compared to other NIT's like NIT Jalandhar snd SVNIT Surat, NIT Kurukshetra has a more competitive cutoff, which shows how sought after it is, especially due to its location near Delhi. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance. NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
