Likes

Placement are at its top notch for all branches.
Faculty is quite friendly with students and support them.
Various colleges events are held which is fun to participate

Dislikes

75 percentage attendance is mandatory which should not be the constrain students think.
Very small campus parking issues of the vehicles
Students are not allowed to use lift which is again big issues as we need to use stairs for fourth floor

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty people are good and have adequate knowledge of there subject but the collage campus is too small also large number of students takes admission here around 800 per year and it has around 200 staff. Examination are based on medium difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are very good at college almost like each and every tech company in pune comes for placement and internship opportunity in the collages. Also collage provides us paid internships so stipend can be used for paying college fees as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The placement are very good for this collage it's has placement rate above 90 percentage it mean almost every student in a college is placed. Also the scholarship procedure is well done at Student counters and students get well supported.

Classrooms are well ventilated also collage has its own library which contains book for each and every subject and we are allowed to take book for studing at our hostel place. There are various sports events and various clubs like ACM,PASC, pictorial,GDSC and many more.

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth we were guided by the collage staff and process was completed within very less amount of time.The cutoff of college is quite high an open category student need minimum 99 percentile to get admission in this college.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
