Remarks

This college has only good remarks as this is the best place for career growth, opportunities and exciting community you get to live with. Faculty members are good and very friendly in nature.

Entrance Preview

I gave HP CET entrance test and scored pretty well in this entrance test. This college has great infrastructure and provide best facilities and you will get best faculties who will help you in every possible way.I was recommended by one of my friend as he was the student of this college.

Placement Experience

Almost all the students get placed and average placements for my branch are around 7-8 lacs INR. Students usually get paid more, and companies are from diverse sectors, a lot of startups also joined in this year, giving lucrative packages and good job profiles around 15-20 lacs INR.

The most powerful thing and worldwide prestige of my institution was because of its alumni which are in a very prominent positions in almost every field of industry and government. When you enter the institution your best friends are your senior. From knowing about your academics to hostel politics, you learn everything from your seniors.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains.
