Course Curriculum Overview

The course I took is basically Computer Science and Engineering. I took this course because of the demand for CS in today's modern world. The faculty-student ratio in this course is approximately 1:10. The faculties in this course are extremely qualified and None of them holds a degree lesser than a Ph.D. and their teaching method is also quite good. Exams match the standards of THE IIT

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 238000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are ample opportunities available on the campus for internships. Most of the people become eligible for the internship in the 3 rd semester. Most of the companies that offer placements on campus also offer internships on the campus

Placement Experience

The placements in the college are one of the best in the country. The students over here become eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th semester. There are a number of companies that visited the campus for placements some of them being Google, Flipkart, reliance, and various others giving an average package of? 1500000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in the college is almost? 238000 per annum. It is quite high because of the fee hike policy. There are a number of scholarships and financial assistance opportunities available in the college for the ones who need them. The Job opportunities Available are also ample.

Campus Life

The Campus life is just awesome, there are a lot of oppurtunities available for Socialising and doing specialties in one of the clubs. The annual fest conducted is RENDEZVOUS and the tech fest conducted is Tryst. The library in the college is bigger than some of the colleges in the country and a number of books are available in it.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities have a quite mismatch in the college meaning that some hostels have quite good facilities while some others have none. In my room we have bed, almirah, fan, door etc. The mess also has unequality but we have tasty meals most of the time.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

So basically I took the JEE ADVANCED examination for getting into IIT Delhi. As such there were no eligibility criteria for the course other than the JEE Advanced Rank. All application-related procedure was available on the website of JA. I took the benefit of the SC category reservation

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Firstly, IIT Delhi is a platform fromWhere you can achieve anything be it High salary, entrepreneurship, research and higher education, civil services, and what not to mention. We have Indias best labs in educational institutions and we are not limited to the discipline we choose, a physics student can do research in biology or a mechanical student can sit in coding interviews.
