Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electronics and communication engineering. There are approximately 180 members in this branch from our batch. We have 2 sections. We have 4 exams per year 2 minors for 10 marks each. Mid-exam for 30 marks, End-exam for 50 marks.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements in our college start from the start of the 7th semester, We have a team called Training and placement cell taking care of our placements. The online test, interview, and results come in a day or two. Making it easy for the students for the next company.

Fees and Financial Aid

We are required to pay 62500 per semester towards the tuition fee. we also need to pay hostel fees and maintenance fees which might vary from time to time. NITW provides merit scholarships for people scoring a higher cgpa through which their tuition would be waived.

Campus Life

We have 2 major fests in our college a technical fest called Technozian and a cultural fest called Spring Spree. There is also a youth fest conducted around January. We have a digitalized library. There are many student clubs in NITW ranging from cultural clubs like Dance and dramatics club to Technical clubs like CyberSec(which is run by students).

Hostel Facilities

The girls have 4 sharing, 3 sharing, and 2 sharing and single rooms in their 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th year of Btech respectively. The rooms are of average space and they are planning to put up a new hostel for girls soon.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

To get into Btech in NITW, you need to clear JEE-MAINS.JOSAA takes care of the seat allocation and it is done based on the percentile we obtain in the mains exam. For us, it is best of the two percentiles scored.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed
