Remarks

Campus life was fun. Probably the most I remember from college days is the on campus life. How students sat in the center foyer and gossiped about life, faculties, exams, girls and stuff like that is the most cherished memory from college. Gender ratio was around 60% boys and 40% girls.

Entrance Preview

I haven'[t take any entrance examination to choose this college. and I secured good marks in my higher secondary. Based on my cut-off marks I search for colleges which I'd best for me. I found my college is near to me, well infrastructure, good coaching and good at activities.

Campus Life

Our senior students were very helpful if they know you. Other alumni network was very good and they came and interacted with us and we were in touch with them. Overall they were very helpful in providing help when needed.College had one workshop in which we attended civil subjects like engineering graphics and practical wood workshop in which we were making stools and chairs and other such carpentry stuff.

Hostel Facilities

Our university had boys and girls hostel separately. However I did not stay in hostel but instead I did up-down from south goa to college. Many friends stayed in hostel and the overall experience was good. Rooms were good spaced and air flow was very good. Mess was good.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

For the starting courses, the college had kept experienced faculties which had more than 5 years of experience. Then after subjects in 3rd and 4th year the faculties were more experienced ones who were able to explain the subjects properly. Even the Head of Department

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

In my college NIT Goa, students are eligible for campus placements after sem 6 or the start of 7th sem till the end of the 8th semester The highest package is 44LPA and the average package is around 6LPA to 10LPA

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
