Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well designed by the institute. It becomes very hectic to handle when you first start the course but you will get the hang of it after some time. Faculties are very experienced and the course outline includes lots of case studies, simulations, and various other activities that keep you engaging
Internships Opportunities
Under the summer internship program in 2022, we had an average stipend of 60000. Various companies visited our college which included Bank of America, BNY Mellon, ICICI Bank, etc. Roles offered were Analyst, BD Associate, etc. But in general, in our college, Final Placements are far better than summer placements.
Placement Experience
There are two types of placements in our institute. Summer Placement for students in the first year of the course and Final Placements for the students in the 2nd or final year of the course. Placements are handled by the Placement committee and they have done a great job by bringing very good companies because of which our average package jumped from 15.21 Lakhs in 2022 to 16.74 Lakhs in 2023
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are 14.25 lakhs which include a 50k caution deposit (refundable after the end of the course). This fee also includes the hostel fees. Apart from this, you have to pay mess fees which are around 6500 per month. SNBS scholarship is available from the Institute itself for students with less than 6 lakh family income.
Campus Life
Life here at IIM Nagpur is awesome. There are around 15 clubs and committees which you can be a part of through the club induction process. Every month there are some or other activities happening. For example, Rhapsody is a sports fest where students are divided into houses through an auction process and they compete in different sports to win the final trophy.
Hostel Facilities
IIM Nagpur provides a residential MBA so you have to stay in a hostel irrespective of your choice. The facilities are great. Each student gets their own room which is fully furnished with a wardrobe, bed, study table, etc.
Admission
I gave Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2020 while I was in the final year of graduation. There is no such eligibility for the CAT exam you should have either completed your undergraduate or should be in your final year to be eligible for MBA admissions
Interview Experience
After the CAT results were announced, I received a call letter from the Institute which I filled out on their website. In this, I was asked to upload my CV as well as my Statement of Purpose. After that my Personal Interview was conducted. Combining the 10th, and 12th, grade marks, CAT score, PI score students were given the final admission offer
