Course Curriculum Overview

MBA at IIM Visakhapatnam offers the best faculty and industrial exposure. It is the best among the new generation IIMs. There are three terms in the year which happen every 3 months. The teaching method is mostly based on the Harvard model.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 1700000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is approximately 1750000 rupees. The college also provides scholarships for students. Financial assistance for students who cannot afford the education. I'm placed in a business communication company as a research analyst with a stipend of Rs. 50000 per month.

Campus Life

IIM Visakhapatnam's campus never sleeps. There is a Student affairs council consisting of Acads council, a Business cluster, an Alumni committee, a Sports committee, Cultural cluster. We have events like Yuddh etc.,

Hostel Facilities

Every room is single occupancy, with AC, a Study table and a chair. The hostels are very well-maintained, neat and clean. As it is located in the ourskirts it is not easy to find a room to rent. The rooms are cleaned every day.

Hostel Fee: INR 250000 per year

Admission

The admission test is CAT. Reservation for OBC is available The college chooses mostly based on work experience, it gives high priority to work experience. Students can enrol for the CAT examination available on the CAT website, IIM Vizag has its own admission process which means it is not included in the CAP process.

Interview Experience

There were Personal Interviews for IIM Visakhapatnam and a WAT. The interview scores are either collected by interviewing or from the scores of interviews conducted by the first-generation IIMs. Prepare GK

Best Memories I got

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible to attend placements. Highest package is 9lpa and average package is 4lpa in all majors. 98% students will be placed. There will be no fault from the placement cell The will bring 100s of companies to the college It totally depends on students capability. In prder to it placement cell take care of communication and aptitude classes provided to the students

For admission, you have to appear for a CAT exam based upon that the college releases a list of shortlisted candidates via mail based on the cut-off percentile set by the college (last year 85 percentile).
