Remarks

The students must possess a valid CMAT/GATE/KMAT Score. The application for admission is through the CUSAT official portal. The reservations are as per the Kerala Government Rule. Then the shortlisted candidates are called for PI and GD.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA is a master's program that will enhance the career development of the ward and that will foster overall career opportunities.SMS, CUSAT is having a high faculty-student ratio compared to other state-run institutions. The faculty are highly qualified and experienced in their respective domain.

Placement Experience

The students who have completed the third sem of a Full-time MBA have access to the placement program. Various companies like KPMG, EY, Federal bank, ICICI bank, and Deloitte visits regularly. Currently, an Average CTC of 9.14 lakhs is persisting.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very low since it is a state-run university. The students belonging to SC/ST/OBC(H)/OEC have access to all opportunities for scholarships and other financial assistance like education loans are also availed.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester onwards, i.e. in November the placement process starts. The eligibility criteria for placements is to get at least 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. Approximately 60 or more companies have visited our campus until now and more than 85% of people have been placed. (As of 3rd February 2022) The highest package until now is around 14 Lakh per annum and the average package per company is around 8 Lakh per annum. (As of 3rd February, 2022) We have a target of 100% placements until April 2022. I have already been placed, so, my plan is to do well in the job I got into, and I'm very happy about it.

Remarks:

My sister is an alumnus of this institute, she completed her MBA from here and suggested me to do the same as she had a wonderful experience here and was also able to develop a great relationship with her faculty members. My mother also wanted the same, so considering that they both are very wise, I decided to act on their suggestion. I applied here by paying INR 300 for the online application form.
