Life at SMS

MBA is a course that not only enhances one's career but also helps in overall skill development. School of Management Studies has a good faculty: student ratio and there are extremely talented faculties here. Faculties are qualified Professors, Assistant Professors, and Associate Professors. Outcome-based Syllabus is followed here and students are not spooned fed which makes us self-sufficient to cover each topic. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester timely without any postponement.

Currently, I am in my second semester, and as of now few companies have approached me with internship opportunities like ICICI, WOXEN Digital, WEXO etc But Companies like Federal Bank, Berger paints, Axis Bank, etc approach Internships.

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd semester onwards. Companies like Federal Bank, KPMG, Berger paints, ICICI, and many other visits for Campus Placements. The average CTC offered is above 7 LPA. The highest CTC was 12 LPA the previous year.

A total of 150000 is required for two years. Fees are required to be paid semesterly. Scholarship opportunities are also provided for the needy. The quality of education is not compromised with this fee amount. Students are exposed to various opportunities to build their careers.

Good Infrastructure is provided on the campus. Different clubs like Finance Club, Marketing Club, etc, and social clubs like Sparsham, Reading club, and Speak Out clubs are also there. Students can also join NSS. Talentime (Annual Fest) is hosted annually. Students from various other Colleges like IIM, and other B schools participate. 38th Talentime is to be conducted in March this year. Other than Management Activities, Sports events like Athletes, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, etc: Matches are held. Students are given the opportunity to participate in University Arts and Sports Fest.

My CMAT score was considered for the admission process(CAT and KMAT scores are also accepted). Other than the Entrance score, there are two rounds to attend, Personal Interview & GD. A combined rank list of the three scores will be published thereafter, followed by the Document Verification process. Any Candidate with a valid Bachelor's Degree is eligible for the course. Entrance scores of CMAT, CAT, and KMAT are considered. For shortlisted candidates Group Discussion would be conducted by dividing the whole candidates into groups, each group would be provided with a relevant topic to discuss. Topics would be related to current affairs. The pros and cons of Merging banks were my topics. After GD, Interview would be conducted. In interview questions on our domain (bachelor's), some common questions would be asked.
