Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to pursue B.com hons because I was good in accounts and economics since class 12. Talking about the faculty: student ratio was moderate. professors were friendly and guided enough the students while preparing for the subjects. Semesters exams were much tougher than internals. The exams were conducted in a term of after 6 months.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

During my graduation fees were normal since it was a Govt College. It was nominal around Rs.20000 /- year. There was no such scholarship schemes stipend was also not there. Yes, but for the handicapped people there was some help from the college.

Campus Life

Annual Fest were conducted during the year end. Books availability was there in my college. Usually, any student who takes the books should return the book in 7 or a maximum of 10 days positively. Extracurricular activities like Kabaddi, Badminton, and Other sports were held. Yes.

Admission

The application process at my university was a 2 round interview session. The first day was a group discussion round and the second day was an application filling process round. Eligibility criteria were a minimum of 60% in class 12. The application guidance was given by the Professor to check the official website of the College.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Our college known for internship program

Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

A review on HCC

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. A few companies like TCS visit our college every year. The average package offered is around 100000 PA I want to go for higher studies after the degree but I want some real life work experience too.

The interesting chapter of my college life

The applied for Chandigarh University.I got confirmed admission from the CU and AGC.I choose Asansol GIRLS college because it is affordable for my parents and it is near to my house..CU fees structure is very expensive. I didn't get any rejection from any other college that I applied too. The admission process of my college is very simple all you need to do to fill the form and provide necessary details of 10th and 12th exam. And submit after a month the list will be released on the official website of my college. After checking your name, you need to pay the require amount for the courses.. after few days they will call you for documents verification and there's no mandatory exams for admission, 12th result is sufficient.My overall experience is good....Read More
