Remarks

The experience has been very dull. Not something to boost about. This is not the college life that I expected to be. A lot needs to be improved. There is no sports activity in our college. If they introduce some of it , then students might get to do something productive during in the college other then studying or sitting idle outside the college doing nothing at all.

Entrance Preview

I freezed this college in the 1st counselling itself though I could've got a letter one. Both online and offline admission process were present on the university as well as the college level. When the 1st counselling was under process, I had to go to the college for the rest of the admission formalities. But there was some technical glitch over the website due to which my seat was not freezed. So I had to travel back to theUniversity to get it done, which could have been avoided if college would have done it from their side.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Being an Electronics and Communication student, the core subjects of my field is what I've always liked. Eg. Analog electronics, Digital communication, Network theory, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are very satisfactory. A value added program is held in every semester and a proper training is been given on a particular technology that helps in making minor/major projects.

Placement Experience

3

Average package is Rs. 3 to 12.5 lac per year. Infosys, IBM, Indian Navy, Indian Army, HCL, space Technologies and many more companies visited the campus for the placements. placement criteria has never been satisfactory so a lot of improvement is required in the placement areas. Getting a campus placement is quite tough.

College Events

2.5

Emblazon - Annual cultural fest, Techexpo - Annual technical exhibition and college level competition, Techfest - annual technical fest, Diaphine - Freshers are organised in the campus. Ever since I started off with the college, I was into organizing the cultural festivals and other events that used to be hosted by the college seniors. I was associated with the literary society of the college and has hosted a lot of events quarterly. Organizing these events being in the college makes you grow a lot as a person and brushes up your management skills. I have always loved doing it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

college fees is Rs. 84k per year, Bus fees is Rs. 25k, Winter/Summer training fees is Rs. 5k-10k. Yeah, it is affordable comparatively what other colleges asks for!

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think they have any of such facility.

Campus Life

4

Campus is quite small and compact. But the internal infrastructure is good. Labs are maintained properly and grounds/gardens also.

Hostel Facilities

3

Canteen food is very average and can be improved. Hostel is not there. Though they can make one to make it more convenient for the students as the college is on the outskirts of Delhi and travelling takes the major part of the day.

Alumni/Alumna

Sangeet Sharma, Ruchika Srivastava, Nitin, Dhairey Sharma, Konark Kataria, Gaurav Kalsi, Vishu Chauhan, Rinika Khattar and Shruti Rawat helped me a lot in my studies and extracurriculars. There is hardly any Alumni network within the college. I know them through personal contact.

Exam Structure

Examination system of this university has always been on point so is the result schedule. Marking scheme gets a list query and varies from student to student. Biasing is also been done which is common in every college. If the exams are near and syllabus is yet to complete, then some of the faculty just rush into it other than starting it off before hand. But this does not happen quite often. Other than that, the level of exam are understandable.

Faculty

3.5

Ms. Dipti Kalra, Mrs. Richa, Ms.Shweta, Mr. Pawan Bhutani, Ms. Deeksha Lal are my favourite faculty members.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree

College management needs to work upon just the placement cell and needs to invent new methods to keep uninterested students glued and up for studies.
