Remarks

The student has to qualify the COMEDK exam then the students can apply to the colleges of Karnataka. The application form is available on the website of the Comedk, and from there the students can fill out the form. The reservation benefits are not available for students who are coming from states other than Karnataka. The students here those who are from Karnataka get the reservation benefits as they very much concession in fees The students should be charged fewer fees because the college is not worth that many fees per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because this course has a very good placement rate in our college. There is a total of 120 students intake in the CSE branch. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:30 which is good. The teaching method is old and they focus only on the academic growth of the students. The total of 2 internals and 1 external. Ans there is 4 quiz in every subject.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 330000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is very bad. Every year they increase the fees of the course. This year I have paid 330000 INR for the fees of tuition fee and hostel fees. But the college is not worth this fee. Here the scholarship is mainly for the home state students. Outside Karnataka State, students will not get any scholarships. The on-campus job is good and all students are getting good placement, especially in CSE and ISE branches.

Campus Life

The crowd at the campus is not that diverse because the students are generally from the Home state Karnataka. Some students are from BIHAR, UP and Delhi also Madhya Pradesh. There are many student clubs in the college almost 20 student clubs are there. The library is 3 storeyed building with many books. It is open 24/7 during exams. Classrooms are of school type only. There is a projector in the class. There are very little extra curricular activities. Path Finder and TEDx.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
