Remarks

Admission is done through CAP Portal. CET marks and JEE marks both are considerable. One has to report to the college for confirmation of admission. Offline admission is also done after the counseling process. These are the unoccupied seats and this process is known as spot round of which the info is given on the college's website

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good except for some Student to faculty ratio is also good. A Guardian system is there in which a teacher is allowed 20 students to look after their every matter. Exams are uncertain bcz of SPPU. Sometimes exams get canceled a day before only

The internship is provided in the third year and it's compulsory. You have to qualify for the criteria of minimum marks to qualify for sitting in the internship round interview. Internship stipend is given upto 1 lakh depending upon your skill set

Campus placement happens in 7th sem Samsung Electronics, phonepe, bajaj fin serve, and UBS were some companies, and the highest package last year was 1.12 crore by Amazon, and this season it is still going on. The average package is 13.5 lakhs. More than 90 percent of students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available. A fee hike of 500 was there last year. There is also an incubation center in which you can run your startup funded by the college. Also, fees are around 90k which is affordable and the return on investment is high considering the placement

Campus Life

The campus size is so small The annual fest happens but not like very grand. Space limitation is the biggest problem. The sports facility is an okayish volleyball court and basketball court is there. The classroom is equipped with a projector computer etc. There are different clubs like IEEE CSI PICTORIAL ART CIRCLE. Library has many books

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
