Remarks

For admission to my College, I gave mhtcet exam. The application form for the exam is available on the Maharashtra CET cell website. I didn't get any reservation benefits for admission to this course. The admission process was very simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I like mechanical engineering. In this course, there are various domains to explore. The faculty of my college is very good. Faculties of my colleagues are highly qualified and experienced. All term exams are very timely and regular.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 97000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students get eligible from the 6th semester for placements. Many companies visit our campus for campus placements like PhonePE, and Paytm. The highest package is 20 lakhs and around 85% of students get placed. My plan after getting my degree is to get a placement with a good package.

Placement Experience

The hostel is very good. Many facilities are provided in our hostel like a playing area, lounge, etc. The meal quality of the food in our hostel is also nice. It is healthy and fresh. The hostel is affordable for every child as fees are moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy in our college. For the last 3-4 years fees are not increased in our college. Many scholarships are also provided by our college like maha-debt. Job and internship opportunities are also provided in our college.

Campus Life

Life at the VIIT campus is very good and enthusiastic. College celebrates gandharbha as its annual fest. In the library, many books are available in every domain. In classrooms, many amenities are provided as digital boards. Sports events are also organized in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
