Remarks
Admission Criteria: I scored 94 on the AIEEE exam and I wanted to explore computers as I had a keen interest in gaming, designing and programming. It is very easy to take admission for BE or Diploma. It also does direct admissions to deserving candidates. To get admission to Sliet one shall have at least 60% or above marks in their 12th class or 10th class. One can visit the official website and can fill up the admission form or can visit the main campus to do so. After filling up the form the University officials will call up themselves if they find the application according to their criteria up to mark to give admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is very good and Faculty at Sliet is highly qualified, experienced and competent in nature. All the faculty teaching students are NET. Qualified and most of them are even Doctorates. The faculty is ever-helping and knowledgeable and is always ready to solve student queries. They take up interactive classroom sessions and also indulge in practical-based knowledge systems to make more clear understanding of the concepts.
Internships Opportunities
Institute makes an arrangement for the training/internship for the student. The Placement of college was average at that time but our faculty are working on it for improvement at SLIET. Many projects were made and the company offer us a stipend of 20000 per month which is kinda average.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very less. National Scholarship is given to eligible students. Per year I pay INR 52000/- Yes here\'s Scholarship options for women, economically weak, and also for category wise. Max 40 students got Scholarships.
Campus Life
There are many societies depending upon every field. The technical festival is the main festival. College is very enjoyable. 10 boys hostel, 3 girls hostel and fee is INR 1500 a semester. Few PGs are available outside the college whose rent depends upon the no. Of rooms. Food of better quality charges INR 75 per day. Wi-Fi is also available almost everywhere.
Hostel Facilities
Here 10 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel 2300 per month for food Quality of classroom, labs, etc are fantastic. Wifi facility is very high. Food cost 80rs per day. The hostel food is not good but the hostel is good at SLIET.
