PICT - Best in Pune

I gave MHT-CET exam to take admission to PICT College. The exam was conducted by Maharashtra CET cell and the exam form was available on their website. The admission process was way too good and simple. Assistance was provided whenever required by the cet cell. I took admission through the general category but different reservation benefits are also available.

I choose the IT branch as I always wanted to be in a technical domain. Also, the IT field in recent times is flooded with job offers and many start-ups are also taking place. The faculties in my college are very good and supportive. All faculties are highly educated and trained. Exams are also scheduled from time to time to examine students.

Internship opportunities are also provided by the internship cell of pict. Internships are provided from 3rd semester with a stipend starting from 10000 to 100000. They first train the students and then students have to clear an interview to get an internship.

Students become eligible from the 6th semester for campus placements. Placements in pict are damn good. Some of the best companies that give outstanding packages are PhonePE, cred, TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest package of 2022 was 54 LPA given by cred. The average package ranges from 8-10 lakhs. Around 94% of students get placed every year. I plan to do a start-up.

PICT is the college with one of the lowest fees in Pune. The fee for pict is roughly around 94000. Also, fees hike is not seen in recent years. Scholarships are also given to students like mahadbt. Some categories also get concessions in fees.

The annual fest of PICT is addiction. Books and journals are always available in the library and students can issue them whenever required. All the classrooms are well-ventilated and have adequate light. They are also equipped with smart projectors. Sports matches also take place in PICT. Some of the clubs of PICT are ACM, IEEE, CSI, etc.

The hostel of PICT is rather small but good. Rooms have separate toilets and are well maintained. Meal of pict mess is way better than outside mess food. We can directly register for pict hostel but they are a bit costly. I am living at Rathi Hostel in kondhwa, Pune as pict hostel was full.
