AMAZING TIME AT B.C.E.T

Management was not good enough.Management was good but very strict, they do solve all the problem with fines and taking the amount from the student which I think was not right at all. There were several types of fine such as Low attendances fine, late registration fine during the start of the semester which was not the university rule and so on.

I took WBJEE for the admission of this college.I scored 69% and through WBJEE Counselling I got the opportunity to entitle me in this college.

The course structure was good enough I would say.The college is under MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY so the course structure is set by the University authorities. However, the course structure is not up to date compared to South Indian universities.So, for a future goal or higher studies the course structure is not up to the mark.

Yes, but not for all the branches mainly CSE and ECE branch student had the opportunities to get the internship in various companies.

The placement and job opportunities for CSE, IT, ECE are relatively higher than Core branches. Actually, this problem is now in all over India, I think.Somehow our Training And Placement Officer is responsible for less job placement in core branches.He concentrates more to call software companies rather than calling core companies.

There are several types of events which were celebrated in our college.The events were in all format like technical, cultural and management festivals.Generally, all the events were started at the end of an even semester.Below is the list of events ASSHA Event, Robonics Event Ecell Event and Frission The tech fest

The course structure is OK relatively compare to the other colleges.Although the course fee is already fixed by the west Bengal technical department.But compared to other private colleges here the other charges are less.Such as Caution money Dress code charge etc etc.

College does not provide any scholarship.All the scholarship which student can avail through the merit list by WBJEE Board only. College said in the brochure, that there is loan facility but in reality, student has to do all the things personally college only help to provide a bonafide certificate.

Camus life was amazing, memorable, unforgettable. The gossip in big green grass playground after the classes was awesome. I really miss those days.In gender ratio, the girls were higher than boys. There was all different type of sports option available. Besides that, the debate, robotics competition and many other things happened during tech fest.

The Hostel quality was awesome with average quality veg mess food.The hostel rooms were nice with two beds per room.There was option for a single room with attached bath as well as two bed shared room with or without attached bath.The room contained one bed one table and an Almira for each student for a reasonable rate.But the food was not so good especially due to the only veg option.Student can get easily PG's outside the college campus.

Seniors were very much helpful.Even after pass out, we are in touch also.At first, during the first and second semester they treat us like juniors but as time passed we all became closer and from juniors, we became like friends.All the time we got very supportive behavior from them and they were also very helpful in all the matters.

The exam structure was all set from the University. In every semester there were three exams where two were internal and another one was the Final semester exam.For this purpose also our college was very strict whether that was an internal exam or final they treat the both in the same way.

After getting the rank in WBJEE, I participated in online counselling which was organised by WBJEE board and there was a certain time under which I had chosen my preferable colleges for counselling and after locking the choices the result of 1st counselling published.Actually, I got this college in 2nd round counselling.

The faculty of this college is technically very sound as well as they are very much strict about discipline.Lecture were always started on time.But frankly, sometimes we became bored while attending Lectures.Overall the experience was nice.Now I miss those days.
