College in Himalayas

Jee advanced exam needs to be given to take admission in iits. Nearly a rank of 2k - 2.5k is good to get cse seat in IIT Mandi if a candidate belongs to the general category, otherwise different cutoff lists can be found on the jossa site where a candidate will get cutoff for every college according to the branches. I am a general candidate so no such reservation is availed by me but IIT Mandi has fewer fees as compared to other iit and also for girls candidates there are no tuition fees only hostel and mess fees. The admission process is completely justified as one has to show his worth for getting admitted to IIT and live his dreams to extreme

I choose cse because of my severe interest in coding and other tech-related things. Faculty students ratio here is 30:2 but that doesn't matter as students can anytime contact faculty for any of their doubts whether it's in academics or personal life problems. Many clubs are here to promote the mental life of students and support them for their betterment All of the facilities are either Ph.D. from foreign and titans the method of teaching is unique for every teacher as some are very good in it but some lack in it but overall we have a good faculty team Exams held here are mindsets and end seems with project and assignment, if you attended all classes with proper attention then it will not be much difficult to pass the exam

Many companies offer internships for students with more than 100k per month strips, like HDFC, Microsoft, Google, and others. Students need to complete some projects suitable for their resume and accordingly to their choices

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies including Google, Amazon, Zomato, Microsoft oracle, and many more visit campus for placement opportunities for students. On average almost 98% of students get placed from cse department. I am also planning to get my hands on one of these companies for getting a brief experience of the corporate world.

The fee structure is a 1lakh tuition fee per semester for BTech undergrads and about 40k hostel and mess and other charges Many scholarships are here to avail including MCM(marks cum merit) and lots of reservation scholarships, all of which can be found on it Mandi site in the scholarship section. I am in the 2nd year in the 3rd sem hence preparing for an internship.

Life is very much amazing in the laps of the Himalayas 8n between mountains as you see anywhere only mountains and beautiful weather. More than 20 clubs are present in college including, robotics dancing, hiking & trekking, mountain biking, and many more.

Hostel facilities are more than ok as you got big wide almirahs with a study table and chair and a single bed in every room for every student whether it is a single room double or triple. It is an automatic process you will have to stay in hostels only according to the rules of it's. Locally many canteen hotels and restaurants are present to enjoy the moments
