Remarks

In JMI BTech courses are available in Computer science, ECE, Electrical, mechanical, and civil with 70 seats in each branch. You have to give JEE Mains and scored above the 90 percentile to get admission into it. The application form will be available on its website jmicoe.in and fees is around 600 and available from march or April. Muslim, Muslim women, Muslim obc sc st, and Kashmir migrants have a reservation about it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is the oldest and finest branch of jmi. The faculty is too helpful and cooperative and the student ratio is about 1:7. Teachers are well-qualified and from reputed colleges. Teaching methods are also awesome. Term examinations held at mid-semester it is not very difficult but you have to study to score good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite low or you can say negligible but ROI is best. The cost to study here is nothing. There are so many scholarships. Funded by the government as well as some alumni of jmi only provide some scholarships.

Campus Life

There are so many tech fests like seher miras etc. There is a central Library and a separate Library for each department. All useful books are available there. Ac fan lights all are available in the classroom. Sports are also played here. Jmi has its own cricket stadium.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

DTU has one of the best placements records among engineering colleges.Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.Top companies like google microsoft ,qualcomm,airtel visit the college every year with many offers.the highedt package often go above 1 cr for cs/it while the average package around all other branches stay around 12-15 lakhs

DTU is a Nice Place

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is its strong point. A lot of the students get placed at least somewhere in CSE especially. Google is the company a lot of the people get placed in. Highest package is around 2 Cr per annum and Average is around 12-20 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students that get placements is about 90%. There are a lot of internships options here and I know some students that have joined internships from the first year. My plans after getting a degree is to find a nice and comfortable job where I can balance my work and life and work hard there for good money.

DTU: A Perfect Blend of Learning and Campus life.

Placement Experience:

At DTU, students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.TOP companies like Google , Microsoft, Amazon , Atlassian and Deloitte visit the campus. The highest packages touch above 1cr+, with an average around 15-20lpa for CSE. Most Students (90%+ in top branches) get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue a tech role in software development.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. Highest package - 80LPA (Atlassian) Average Package - 20LPA Some top companies which visit on campus - Google, Microsoft, Apple, Atlassian, Sprinklr, NVIDIA, Tower Research, Estee Advisors, PhonePe, Intuit, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Samsung, Texas Instruments, etc.

Infosys is major as nearly half the corwd is hired by them. Various other companies too but with very few requirements and it is difficult to get into those colleges as it is tough and very tough to be honest.

I started my master's in Chandigarh University before joining Jamia. We have to clear an entrance for JMI. In comparison, it is much better than Chandigarh University. The fee for Jamia is around 16000 for the course , whereas it's around 1.5 lakh there. Then comes the professors. They are much experienced and better in Jamia.
