Placement and job opportunities are available in our college. The placement in our in every year. The Automobile trade is so good in our college. Yeah, our college provides internships. I have no experience with internships because I am a student of 1st year.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. We, Capgemini, TCS, etc companies visited. The highest package is 2500000 rupees per year & the average package offered by companies is 1200000 rupees per year.

A lot number of events are arranged in our college. Sometimes teachers arrange the annual programmes and annual sports. Sometimes college seniors arrange a cultural programme. We all participate in this programme.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. Placement Experience:

From 8th semester the students get eligible for campus placements . Some good companies like TCS Capgemini Infosys visited campus . Amazon also visited our campus the highest package is about 22 lakhs and average packages 5.5 lakh . about 80% student of CSE , IT and ECE branches get placed.
