Remarks

Admission process is smooth and you have to visit your respective assigned college for admission process. The entrance exam you have to give to get admission in this college is COMEDK. There is no reservation benefits for students non karnataka students. Application form and dates can be viewed on comedk. Org.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course mainly due to placement because placement in computer science and engineering is excellent. Faculty student ratio in college is 1:30 Qualification of teacher is good but teaching method is average. Exams will be held regularly like quiz two internals and semester end exam. Exams are slightly difficult than other private collegea and no mercy is shown by teacher.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided to students from 5th semester only. Full internship is also provided to the students. Major company which provide internship are jp Morgan, Cisco, nuclei, andany more. Projects of the students get financial assistance by the college itself.

See it totally depends on students ability as student gets placed from 5th semester only and most of the students gets placed by 6th semester. See there are many companies like twillio, Amazon, redbus, Cisco, jp Morgan which offers in the range 20lpa to 40lpa.total number of offers is around 1400 this year. HighesHighest package is 46lpa by twillio and average package is 10lpa for cse students and 6lpa for all the branch. Placement is 100? for cse ,ise ,aids, ece branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is around ?250000 /year and every year it's get increase by ?20000. Overall cost to study in this college is around ?1600000 including hostels. There is no scholarship or financial assistance for non karnatka students. You can be 100? sure every students gets placed in this college.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite good There is annual summer fest called halcyon and it is conducted in June every year. There is a big library in which all the books and journals are available. There is a indoor as well as outdoor stadium with all the playing equipment available. There are many opportunity for extra curricular activities as technical branch fests are held regularly. There are many technical as well as non technical clubs in college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is quite good. There are spacious room with bed table and chairs are provided. Shelf is also there in the room. For North indians meal is below average (worst part) Registration of hostel is done during admission time only. There is no shortage of room in hostels for students.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
