Remarks

Gujcet entrance exam is mandatory for admission. The cut-off is low as compared to other states. There are scholarships provided for OBC. Hostel benefits are also shared only at 2000. College fees 1500 per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Cse department because of its high placement. Faculty are highly Educated. As they have cracked GPSC. The teaching method is well appreciated. There are two mid sem exams and semester exams are conducted every 6 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is very minimal. There is a different kind of government scholarships provided. The placement cell is very active. Many Jobs offer come at every Placement time. To study at a low cost and high education Gec patan is good.

Campus Life

There is an Annual fest with a high number of participants. Skill fest, Sports day is celebrated in the month of February every year. There are projectors for the high concepts to be explained virtually. Different indoor, as well as outdoor sports, are available with great facilities. Faculty play an important role as mentors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per the my experience the, in the Computer engineering in darshan university 80 to 85 percentage syllabus is really important for the IT industry rest are the subjects like environment and indian constitution and all that which are just passing and not that much important but other ones are really important for the students and can understand the importance when student goes into the market.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

It has average placement with top companies recruitment such as reliance , jpmorgan etc, the highest is 60 lpa and average of 3.5lpa which makes good enviroment for placement. also it offers startup enviroment .

I am from Surat and I wanted to get addmission in S.S. gandhey college, Surat but my rank was low for get addmission in surat. Through the ACPC councelling first I got addmission in GEC Dahod but I didn't like that college and in the second round I got addmission in GEC Patan.
