Remarks

The admission process is based on rank opt in the Entrance Exam in NIMCET. The college has 3 Rounds overall. The cutoff for General is 1100, OBC is 1200 and for SC, and ST there is 4000 in the year 2021. I got 938 ranks in the OBC category and got admission to HBTU in the first round.

I wanted to pursue a higher degree in Computer Application and go for Research and Development. The faculty is soo good and helpful. They deliver their knowledge to us in a very good manner. In the year. We have 2 mid-semester and 1 end semesters. The exam difficulty is average.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies which offered stipends are Hexaview, Acceldata, Western Union are some of the companies which offer them. Optum gives full-time to students. Around 18000 interns are offered by companies for 6 months.

Placement Experience

We are eligible for 3rd semester for placement. More than 40 companies visited and their average package is around 6 lakhs. The highest package for MCA is 17 lakhs and the average is 6 lakhs for Btech is 44 lakhs and the average package is 8 lakhs. Around 80%-85% placement overall. I want to be a Software Engineer in the best of the companies like MANG and FANG.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year fee is 1,20,000 for our course. As compared to other government colleges I think the fees are somehow costly. The last year I haven't got a scholarship but many of the students in our college got the scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus atmosphere is soo nice and pleasant. I am happy to be in HBTU just not because of the study pattern but also the infrastructure. There are many clubs for different streams. The library is soo good. It is fully air-conditioned and it has sufficient seats and books.

I choose this college over other is because i have no better option that this . I even don't do too much coding. Yeah i did applied for other college even i got iiit bhagalpur but due to its high fee and less placement ratio i dropped it. I even got mmmut ece as well but dont opted . And the placement are very good for my course so thats the main reason to select this college. The admission process it simple give jee mains exam. Mark good rank fill hbtu couselling and wait for counselling result . They also give you chance in spot round counselling.
