Remarks
To be eligible for this course at my time it was 12th with science with match or stats or commerce with maths or stats. The admission process was pretty simple you just have to visit nrti's official website and fill out the form (now you have to qualify cuet for it). You can find everything about admission on nrti's website. In my time you have to clear the entrance test of nrti to join it and everything was on a merit basis but now the same thing is done by cute. Yes, I want a better admission process and counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and its curriculum are good but need improvement if we talk about faculties then they are one of the best also few of them are like ted talk speakers or heads of any branch of IIT some are CEO of companies like world resources. The brief about the faculty-student ratio is good. The teaching of the faculties is good and their methods are good too. There are midterms and end terms exams plus class tests and they are fairly moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Firstly Indian Railways offers internships for first-year students here. Second-year companies like Adani, MyByk, ircon, RVNL, Railtel, etc offer internships. Same for the third year also. Projects like fuel-based and traffic management-based projects are under progress here.
Placement Experience
Placements are average here and after 4th semester you become eligible for placements I guess. Companies like seimens, Aditya Birla, Adani, etc came I don't know about offers made. The highest was 10 lakh and the lowest was around 4 lakh. 80-90 % got placed, I plan on pursuing M.Sc in rail transportation after my bachelor's.
Fees and Financial Aid
They already mentioned on the website that they can increase 10% every year according to the needs but that has not happened till now. The fees structure is given on the website but if I tell you it's like a total of 182000 in which the hostel fees are like 36000 per year and for the mess it's 50000 per year and college tuition fees are around 82000 and remaining is funds and other charges. You can apply for a scholarship or financial aid if you are eligible, especially if the economically weaker sections get these things. the internships for the first year are usually unpaid but from 2nd year onwards you might get paid one.
Campus Life
The last annual fest was named agnee and the tech fest also happens in the months of May and June. Our library is first class and high tech our library card is made up of electromagnetic chips like tap to pay card and all the books also have chips inside them so that librarians can tap it on the scanner and record data and they have lots of book inside library plus transportation encyclopedias worth 2-3 lakh each. Classrooms are limited but fully smart and air-conditioned. We have a sports complex for cricket, football, badminton, etc. There are many clubs from media and tech to business and literature.
Other Applied Colleges
Banaras Hindu University - [BHU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.}
