Remarks

I joined this college through the TS-EAMCET entrance exam. I have secured a rank of 7786 and opted for this college during counseling. There is a fee of around 2000 rupees for the counseling process. I availed OBC reservation and the cutoff was around 10000 rank. Overall counseling process takes about 3 to 4 months and doesn't have much hassle. I am satisfied with the counseling process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had chosen CSE and IT branches in this college and was allotted IT. I didn't want to choose electrical or other core branches because I was interested in becoming a software engineer. The teachers in our college are very friendly and always within our reach. They help us in our academics and are happy to help us to pursue further extracurriculars. Almost all the teachers are post-graduates. We have two midterm exams in a semester followed by the end-semester exam. I would say the exams are fairly easy. With prior preparation in both the mid-term exams, preparation for the semester-end exam become very easy. I scored a CGPA of 9.73 in my first semester.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The students who get placed in the sixth semester can do internships from their homes if their company allows them. They are also provided with attendance in their fourth year. The stipend is depended on their package. Amazon WOW offered an internship of 80,000 for girl students. The highest package of 30lacs offered an internship of 30,000 per month having physical office work. Additionally, the college gives internships to all other students in their last semester if they weren't able to secure one on their own.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college conducts placement every year. Students attend placements from the fifth semester in their third year. Additionally, students who get selected in the coding batch exam our college conducts are given placement training along with teaching soft skills, data structures, and algorithms. Many companies attend our college mainly TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and some high package hirers like Oracle, Amazon, and Commvault. The average package is 5 lac per annum. The highest package is 30lacs, three students have secured the package in Commvault company. The placement percentage is 100%. I am planning to attend placements and secure a package above 20 lacs and join top companies like Amazon or Microsoft.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual tuition fee of our college is hiked to 150000 this year from the previous 115000. The local students are directly eligible for the post-matric scholarships. SC and ST students get complete fee reimbursement, and rank holders of OBC less than 10000 get complete fee reimbursement. Also, other OBC and general quota students are eligible to get a tuition fee reimbursement of 35000 per year. Our college holds a placement drive every year and we have a placement percentage of 100%. The highest package in our college this year is 30lacs hired by Commvault company.

Campus Life

4

We have about four fests around the year. The Ciencia, the annual cultural and technical fest is conducted in the month of March. Also, we have DJ Night, Traditional Day, and other department-related fests all around the year. There is a very large library having more than 10,000 books and computers with access to various e-library subscriptions. There are various student activity clubs run in the college like Cadenza, the music, and songs club, The Photography and Films club, Rangde, skits and drama club, etc. There is a telegram group 'CVR_COMMUNITY' which holds news and student class notes.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
