Remarks
I got admission to this university by JEE MAINS rank. You may apply for HSTES counselling to get admitted. There are 2 rounds of HSTES, if you are unable to get a preferred seat then you may attend physical counselling, for which you have to apply for a physical counselling application form which you can check on the official website of the university. Talking about the cutoff, for CSE(AIML) 150k JEE Mains AIR rank was for online counciling and it may exceed to 50k more in physical counciling. University provides reservation benefits as well, i.e. in online counselling as well as physical counciling. It is quite a fuss to attend physical counselling, you may find it difficult because it doesn't work on scheduled time. Now coming to university, I am a first-year student so much I can tell is the infrastructure is good there are several parks, a cafeteria, tea stalls, shopping complex, a library and many more. One thing I would like to talk about is sports, this is too good. The crowd is both urban and rural.
Course Curriculum Overview
Dates are scheduled for exams and it is not very tough to pass, you have to study and that will get you good grades. If you are an average student you can score well i.e. if you study for like 2 hours per day. The faculty is good and punctual, we have class from 8:30 a.m. and none of the classes is cancelled any day. There are approx 60 to 70 students per class. Faculty teachers are almost all Phd and they hold good and long teaching experience.
Placement Experience
Placements vary from course to course. For example, printing has 100% placements with a max package of up to 20 L.P.A. In cse highest off-campus package is 45 L.P.A. You are offered to get an internship every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is too good, 36k per semester is not a lot to pay. Hostels are also very cheap with 10k per year of which 3k are refundable. Talking about food mess charges Rs.35 per meal. You can get a scholarship as well like if you're good at sports through sports quota your fee will be reduced by 80 per cent.
Campus Life
University organises youth fest, talent search programmes, Diwali mela, athletic meet and a lot of extra curricular activities. There are several clubs like NCC, NSS, coding and many more. There is a library in which books referred by teachers and many more apart from them are available. The library is provided with separate reading rooms, lab work, newspaper and magazine rooms etc. Classrooms consist of fans and good-quality benches. Sports are too good at this university. There are separate coaches for basketball, badminton, football, volleyball, kabaddi, handball, etc. And different sports have different grounds. Students who are interested can play in the morning and evening as well. The coach is very dedicated to working with students.
Other Applied Colleges
Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)
There are a lot of students there, i.e. tge crowd is too much. I want Cse branch where there are 2500 seats for cse that is a lot and among those 2500 studenys only 300 gets placed , that is not worth the fee.
