Remarks

A placement cell should be made. Smart classes should be prepared in more numbers. Advanced subjects like International Relations should be introduced. Faculties should be more sincere. Shouldn't deplete the environmental beauty of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 6 semesters in our course. Each semester has exams for all papers, core courses as well as compulsory subjects like GE, EVS, AECC, SEC, DSC, etc. Each semester is of 6 months. So exams are also conducted once every six months.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a Govt University, the fees are actually very minimal, and still, if someone can't afford that minimal amount, then financial assistance is given from the student union. Scholarships are also provided by the Govt to all the students who secure 60% marks each year.

Campus Life

To be very honest, social clubs are not in their full-fledged mode inside our campus. Grand fests are organized each year in the month of Dec or Jan. It's a 3 days program where all students enjoy a lot with concerts of renowned artists. Rest, fresher's programs are organized by all the departments individually.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

The placement of BA Hons linguistics in Aligarh Muslim University is too good. It has its own training and placement office to help students get college placement and make their life successful.
