NIET is a good option for the students.

I appeared for the UPSEE Exam 2016 through which I got admission to NIET College. It was a very simple process the counseling process was done online where I filled in my choices and my preferred branch according to my interest. All these processes were easy. Now if you want to take admitted in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, you don't need to give UPSEE exam instead now you have to score marks in JEE MAINS exam through which now the admission process is going on. I am from the reserved category but I didn't avail of it because my marks were sufficient to get admission. The only improvement I would to have is that the verification of documents should have verified online mode only don't make students get in a long queue to get their documents verified because everything is available online we can use that and verify and make easy the verification process for the students and their family.

I had an interest in the Automobile industry and in thermodynamics, that's why I opted for Mechanical Engineering. There was more than sufficient faculty in comparison to students also there was 1 mentor available for the 4 students which helps students in every manner. Some of the faculty members were from very renowned colleges like IIT DELHI & IIT KANPUR and most of the teachers were holding Ph.D. degrees. Some faculty members were amazing and some were ok. Exams were properly organized and there was good time given to the students to prepare themselves for the exams. It's not that difficult to get past if you have studied.

At our time fees were good in comparison to what today they charge. The college has hiked the fees a lot. In today's time, the cost to study is very high in metropolitan cities. We need to spend more just to live in these big cities to get a good education so that we can get a job in the future. The placement was an average of 4-5 lakh per annum for the mechanical engineer. But for the CS & IT, the placement was too good.

JAGMAG is the name of the tech fest which is organized in October month. This year it was organized on 22 October 20. Classrooms are high-tech and futuristic. Every classroom contains a smart board with a projector so that faculty can teach us in a more informative way and it helps us to understand things better through the help of Projector. There are many groups for the college that are handled by the student. There is one group on Instagram named niet crowd. The library is huge. You will find every book which you want to read in fact if any book is not in the library we can request the college to get that book for the students.
