Remarks

I have given ipu cet paper for the admission process and got 1170 rank out of 25000 students and got admission in the 3rd cutoff. There is no specific eligibility for this course but students with a maths background will be at a positive stage. The admission process takes a lot of time, so I want to cut that time period.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to go into the corporate world that's why I choose this course. The faculty was so good and approx 15 teachers are in the commerce department only. The faculty was so well qualified. All of them are net jrf qualified and most of them hold Ph.D. degrees as well. Term exams are in like 4 to 5 months and the difficulty was moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 99800 per year

Placement Experience

Students from the 5th and 6th semesters are qualified for the campus placements. Delliot , hero were the companies that came in the previous year. The highest package is usually for 7 lakh and the profiles offered are generally hr and marketing. The percentage of students hired is very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees generally hike every year which is not good and approx I got a 3.5 lakh expenditure during my course. There is no scholarship available during my admission process, but the university is providing financial aid to economically weaker sections.

Campus Life

There are lots of fest during an academic year which I consider the best part of college. And there was a food fest during the time of Diwali. The library is superb, all books and journals are available from time to time. There is the NCC society which also provides students additional points during the academic year. Goonj NGO is run by our college.

many reputable companies come to our college to recruit potential candidates during the placements time. companies like EY, Bain, etc. come during the placement season. even if students are not able to find on campus placements, the skills and education of university of delhi leaves students with enough credibility to find placements on their own.

Students regularly get employment through campus placements. It generally starts in the third year. Companies like Bain, Deloitte, KPMG, etc visit the college and provide students with offers. The highest package of last year was around 21 LPA and on average students get offered with 8-10 LPA.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was more my existing stream than the curriculum that made me choose this course. It doesn't give me a kickstart to my future career goals but it was the most secure and relevant one. There should be more real world exposure and teaching technique rather than the century old laid out theory practices. The frequecy of exams is somewhat suitable as per the subjects per semester.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem the placement starts. Our college have a placement cell and the recruiters are Big four firms like KPMG, delloite etc Recent data update says it is around 6.47 lakhs to 6.5 lakhs and highest went till 23 lakhs if im not wrong. Students with CGPA 7.5 and above get to sit in the placement. My plan is simple, to make money.

Practical learning with active campus activities

I applied to a few other colleges for BBA but I chose this college because of its well structured curriculum and active campus life. Compared to the other options it offered better infrastructure and practical learning opportunities.
