B.Sc. in physics is the minimum eligibility. Application form on the university page mu. ac.in (Application at Parivartan portal of UOM). Fees in 10-12 K approx. per year. 50% reservation as per the rules and also 5% seats for other university students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course as I am interested in physics and want to go research in astrophysics. There are nearly 12 Professors in the department then there are Ph.D. Scholars and eminence professors so 4-5 students and 1 teacher will be the ratio. Highly qualified and enthusiastic Group of Professor highly motivated towards Research. All the Professors are Doctorate holders. Exam toughness level is high as this is the Department of the University itself and teachers maintain a high standard of teaching and examination. Semester-wise exam pattern and internal assessment throughout the semester.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 10396 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is no stipend but as an MSc Student, you get to work with the University Professors on their projects and get real-time experience. We can also select to do research work at TIFR, IIT BOMBAY, BARC, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the University seats are Government seats General category fee is 10396 Rs and for caste, it is 420 Rs. Caste student gets a scholarship from the government. There is no such fee hike per year.

Campus Life

December and January are the months of fest there are conference exhibitions throughout the year. They have a huge library, Jawaharlal Nehru library KRC within the campus and also a separate department library within the department itself. Sports Complex facility is available all charges are within fees and there are inter-university games every year and other competitions throughout the year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course culicurumes of collage of mangemnet of compter science , yavatmal is revalvent and provied good foundation in computer science concept. the curriculum is helpfiul for understanding theoretical concept and basic pratical skills. it prepares student for entry-lavel jobs and further studies like msc or mca,however ,it is more focused on traditionla topices and lacks exposure to morden technolokkgies such as cloud computing , data science, and advance fremworks which are importent in todays industry. the teachinf methods are mostly classroom- based with practical session in labs. overall, the curriculum is decent but needs update to match current industry demands.

There are plenty of placements taken out in our college within a year & the students are eligible from 5th semester only for degree students & for PG it may be different.There famous companies vista to our college like TCS,INFOSYS & VIPRO etc. they also make several no. Of offers. 70% of students may get placements according to companies criteria & I also will participate in these kind of placements.

Remarks:

It's a good institute but you can always be better. The education and knowledge they provide us with is very good. The only thing that drags the institute is proper infrastructure. Being a newer institute we don't have our own college premises and operate in the building of another government institute.

Nice Learning Journey at GVAIET

l applied to other colleges like VJTI and Sardar Patel but got admission only at GVAIET. I chose GVAIET because of good faculty, updated syllabus, and better placements.
