Remarks

After JEE Mains we go through the counseling process and we got a college in jossa or cab round. For reservation each category has its own benefits I am OBC category and I secured 94.55 percentile in jee mains 2019 and I got National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh in the CSAB special round.No need for any improvement for the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in Government gob and for civil engineering, there are many opportunities for government jobs. Here for 40 students total of 7-8 professors are there. Each faculty are very skilled and experienced they are Ph.D. pass out and each professor is very kind and good in their teaching skills. The exam is not much hard each semester 2 exams are held mid-semester and end semester exam paper is easy

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th Semester students becomes eligible for campus placement. Now pieinfocomm, Tata Elxi, nucleus software, Byjus, L&T, Samsung, Oracle, CGI, and many more companies are coming and time now approx 50 percent of students getting employed. After the getting degree, I want to go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

For SC/ST fees are very less approx 2500 per year and for OBC and general category students fees are depends on their income for below 100000 income students approx 25000 per year and 200000 to 500000 income students approx 100000 per year and those above 500000 income approx 150000 per year. You can apply for a scholarship also. This year many companies came for a placement drives and approx 60 percent of students got the job.

Campus Life

Each year many fests are organized like Addovedi and Atyulam and many more workshops and seminars are organized by the collage.in October Addovedi is organized. Here is a library where you can issue a maximum of 5 books. Here many more extracurricular activities are conducted for the whole campus and individual branches wise also there are many clubs and idea innovation campaigns. Many social groups are active like Newton coding club, how long ECCO club, and many more

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good. But it should be better by including more practical and site visits for better learning. The exams were not that much difficult you can pass easily. Exam frequency was also good

NIT Arunchal Pradesh is Amazing!!

Likes

Ours is one of the latest NITs and therefore we have the best of facilities at our campus.
Government is actively involved in making our college better and better and hence we soon will be among top 10 NITs.
Unlimited and fastest of Wi-Fi is provided to the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotels nearby and therefore we have to use bus service to get out of the campus.

Placement Experience:

Lucky that I am doing ECE as companies like Huawei and Samsung are among the companies that hires our branch students. I am not sure about placements and all as how and when they are done is little far from in the year which I am currently studying.

Life at NERIST

Likes

The fist thing would be the location of the campus. It is located in the beautiful state of Arunachal Pradesh. Hence it provides breathtaking views in and around the campus.
The presence of many clubs and societies help in the overall growth of the students .
The faculty in the campus is very helpful and experienced.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college could be further improved to provide better facilities to the students.
The placement scenario in the college is not still upto the mark and can be improved further.
Though the boy and girl ratio is nor that bad but in certain courses the no. Of girl students are very limited.

Placement Experience:

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

SMALL BUT BENEFICIAL

Likes

I have likes about the atmosphere and the place that is between the mountains.
Anti-ragging comittee is very good here. They are very friendly and help the students in every way they can.
The clubs are wonderful. They provide very good mentoring about if you have any interest in others than the studies. The sports club is the excellent to be must say.

Dislikes

However the things I dislike can be that there response regarding hostels are a bit slow but not that slow they work but yah slowly

Placement Experience:

The placement are very good here. I have joined recently so yah I don't know much about the highest and average placement of the institute. The highest percentage among all is from mechanical. The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.

The fee structure and also the environment.

Dislikes

The infrastructure here is not bad but have to go way more far.

Placement Experience:

For getting placement, We gave to be first eligible without having any backlogs . The companies that use to visit are google, Microsoft, L & T ,and so on. The percentage is 6.5 and above CGPA . My plans is to go for competitive exams.

Life in NERIST

Likes

Teachers are friendly and easily approachable.
I like the campus. The campus is vast and covers an area of 513 acres.
The infrastructure is good. it provide facilities such as gym, hospital, auditorium, play ground etc.

Dislikes

Some class room has become old, dusty and stuffy.
Lack of equipment in laboratories and old machinary equipments

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are lot of curriculum activities such as National Cade Crops( NCC) and National Sevice Scheme (NSS ) NSS helps student to develop their characters and personality which will have positive impact on the community or society. From time to time the NSS officials initiate the cleaness drive program within the campus and they encourage the studens to participate the program. In NERIST there is a major events like SHRISTI and RACAF which is celebrated every year.

Likes

The college was situated in a convenient and vibrant area, offering easy access to essential amenities, transportation, and recreational spots. The scenic surroundings added to the charm and provided a pleasant environment for studying and relaxation
The faculty were highly educated and experienced in their respective fields
Sports were good and cultural events also very exciting and refreshing in nature

Dislikes

I disliked the placement authority here and also there is no internship opportunities are given to students in 3rd year you will have to do it by yourself here
Labs and equipments are also outdated and not very well furnished
Library facilities are available but very poor and also transportation facilities in college is very poor

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to 4th year students only Internship opportunities are also very less Actually as per the record 80 percent of students get placement I will choose mtech after the degree Averagr package is around 10lpa

NERIST details and experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 3 exams conducted, for first exam eligibility is after 10th and the course will be of 6 years, for 2nd exam the eligibility is after 12th and the duration of the course will be of 4 years, and for the third the eligibility is after doing diploma and duration of the course will be 3 years, the application forms are available in the institute website and it's still accepting responses for some more time period

About My college

Remarks:

College is good though few things were better than what i expected but still like there is always room for more improvement. And i hope that college will get better with time as in six months i have seen a lot of improvement.
