Remarks

Admission to this college happens through jee mains marks. Cutt-off is average for this college. Counseling is done through the JAC Chandigarh website. The admission process is decent. My counseling was online so it was easier.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I had an interest in computers and coding. Faculty is great and helpfull. Student ratio is average. Faculty are mostly assistant professor and some professor. Teaching method is textbook based. Exams are conducted semester wise and monthly mst's are conducted.Exams are no difficult to pass. Almost all students pass exams with average grades.

Placement Experience

The student usually starts in placements from 7 semesters for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, josh technologies, etc. Visit for off-campus placements almost all (90%) students of computer science and information technology are placed with the average package. placement for other branches is low. I have planned for studying in higher education institutions in the future after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are average and lower than other colleges and some scholarship is given to category Students of lower caste. Placements are good for computer science and information technology students. And the average for other branches.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Fests are conducted pretty often. All the books and journals are provided in the library. Classrooms are decent and cleaned every day. Sports activities are there. Volleyball, football, basketball, and badminton court are there on campus.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.
