Remarks

Jee mains score is taken into consideration for which you have to prepare for maths, physics, and chemistry. Based on scores the cutoff for each course is released and the candidates having ranks within those cutoffs are eligible to apply for admission in that branch or course. The cutoffs and results are released on the JAC site for DTU IIIT and NSUT. Candidates can opt to float or freeze a course based on their priorities which they have to submit before given admission deadlines.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I wanted to explore the civil engineering line, and the various new technologies in constructing our developing nation and help in that process as much as I can. The faculty to students ratio is good it's like there's a faculty to every 30 to 35 students and the faculties are well qualified as well and have good knowledge of their respective fields. In each year, we have 2 semesters and in each semester for every subject, we have a mid-term exam and end-term exam and various assignments and projects as well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

For internship opportunities, students can apply from the 5th semester and there are a lot of opportunities as well, especially for technical courses like it Coe, ce, and all, companies like meta, apple, amazon, Netflix, Google, etc. all come to the campus and provides a great amount as well. But for core branches like civil mechanical electrical you can the internship opportunities are on the lower side.

Placement Experience

4

For placements, you can apply 7th semester onwards and the average package is around 25 to 30 LPA for tech and 12 to 15 LPA for core branches. The percentage of students getting placed is about 80 to 85 in tech branches and 40 to 50 in the core. I am also trying to get myself into some tech giant.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees you can say are on the higher side being a government institution, the fee was 2.09 lakh in the first year and it increases by 10% every year which I guess not every engineering aspirant can afford. But yeah there are various scholarships as well for economically weaker sections and various government policies under which students are granted a fair amount of concession in terms of tuition fees.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a lot of fests conducted in the festive season which mainly starts in October and lasts up to April. There are various events and competitions conducted as well which provide enough opportunities for individuals to showcase their talents, and the main event which every DTUite longingly waits for is the Engifest which is one the biggest fest of India featuring various famous artists from all over India. In the library, there are a whole lot of books, it's a 2 storey building full of books and journals with a silent environment to sit and study in. The classroom is a bit on the lower side you can say regarding the reputation of the college as there are not even properly working fans and ACs. The sports complex is one of the best you can say with almost every facility from a basketball court to table tennis and gyms fully equipped. Many clubs and NGOs are running in college which help the needy and students also participate a lot.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)

Because i wanted to pursue my career in technical line and dtu provides handful of on campus placement opportunities and exposure to great campus and college life. Here the Faculties and professors are also highly qualified

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
