Course Curriculum Overview

I was having an interest In Computer Science since my 12th so I choose to have the course on it. The faculty is great and very experienced in teaching filled. Exams are of two types in a semester and are a bit difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Companies giving Internships in 3rd year of their B.E are Barclay's, BNY Mellon, and Abode, and the roles they offer are data analytics, Testing and debugging, data science, the etc internship is for 2 months and the company gives training.

Placement Experience

There are very big and dream companies visiting the college like Phonepe, Adobe, Amazon, Trilogy innovations, BNY Mellon, Barclay's, etc giving packages above 15 lakh. Almost 90% are getting placement on-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the College Are already planned before itself that. Each. Year you have to pay a particular amount. You can get the scholarship from the government if you are from other categories except for general. the fee is reasonable according to the amenities provided by the college.

Campus Life

If we talk About The library, we can get almost all the books from the library. It can be for academics or for other subjects as well. If we talk about sports there are many sports and very good facilities. the college also has some groups for the students.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
