Course Curriculum Overview

4

The BCom program is a course where you get knowledge of financial accounts and management. They are a total of 250 students in the BCom program. The teachers are good they are knowledgeable yet, but it is up to you who take advantage of that that is how you use teachers for your benefit they come to class and give lectures. Ask your doubt the solve my doubt and if you also want any other knowledge from the teacher, you can ask them which is good but. Talking about the teachers and student ratio It is pretty much optimum but a few subjects do have not a particular teacher for our college hires a guest teacher to teach that subject. Most of the teachers are doctorate holders. And talking about examinations we have a midsemester examination as well as a semester examination. Mid-semester examination is used as a median to give 25 marks which are internal marks along with assignments.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement starts when you get into the fifth semester. If we talk about placement overall more than half of the students get placed in different companies. Talking particularly for the BCom program. Most of the string get placed at Deloitte and KPMG which come for audit associate role. This year many companies have visited college campuses besides the big four which are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PWC. Besides them, tresVista, Bain, and co have also visited our campus. The minimum package offered is 3.5 L and the maximum is 7 lakh rupees. So overall or college provides good placement opportunity

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for different courses is different for all courses. For our course, The annual fee is 7150 which is very reasonable and value for money for what you get in return. But recently our college has got a hike in annual fee which is around Rs.3000. Many people can afford it, but a few of them are not able to afford it. SBSC do provide scholarships to student who outperforms examinations besides College scholarship student can also apply for their state scholarship and central scholarship and other available scholarship based on their last result.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.
