Remarks

I appeared for JEE Mains exam. Only Jee mains qualified students are eligible for the admission process. The college conducts its own counselling process. Applications for admission is available on the college website. The college does not have any kind of reservation. One thing I feel is that the counselling process should be more apparent.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I actually wanted to take the CSE branch but with my score in jee, I could only get ECE. But I would say the branch really doesn't matter once you get into a good college as almost all companies are open to almost all branches. All faculty members are well qualified either from IITs or other reputed institutes. Faculty to student ratio is good. Faculty members of ECE specifically are very strict. A semester runs for 4 months which at the end of the first 2 months mid-terms are conducted and end the term by the end of the semester. Academics are tough I have to say. And the major reason behind this is that the marking scheme is very strict.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are the primary factor when selecting a college and the placement statistics of LNMIIT Jaipur are amazing. It has an average package of 13.31lpa in 2022 with placements still going on. The placement percentage for 2021 was more than 95%. You can check complete statistics on its official site. Students are eligible for an internship at the end of 2nd year and for placement at the end of 3rd year. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Samsung etc come for placements. Samsung this year hired 41 students offering a package of 16.2 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know surely but I think there is an annual hike of 10%in fees. It costs around 18 lakhs for the whole course. Information regarding scholarships is available on the college site. Yes, there are on-campus jobs with stipends. You can become a TA in the lab and college will give you stipends but of course, you must be eligible for them.

Campus Life

4

The fests are one of the best things about the college. The cultural fest of LNMIIT, vivacity, is 2nd largest cultural fest conducted in central India. Artists like Jubin Nautiyal, kk, Kailash Kher, Gajendra Verma and many more come to perform in this fest. Companies like Redbull, Nestle, and Gaana are a few of the many sponsors of the fest. The vibe of the fest is just amazing. The tech fest of LNMIIT, plinth, is also quite good but is not of vivacity level. The fests are conducted between mid-January to starting February. The sports fest, Desportivo, is also amazing. Colleges from all over India participate in it. Lnmiit is a student-driven college which means all major decisions are taken by the student committee. Gymkhana elections are conducted every year and the election time is something everyone must experience. There are clubs for almost every possible interest and all are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are fine. Obviously, you can't compare them to your home but they are alright. A room is generally 2 seater. In 3rd year students are provided with single seater rooms according to their availability. You are provided with a bed (and a matress offcourse), chair, study table, lights, fan, and 2 wardrobes (one personal and one common). Mess food is average like anywhere else. Out of all the four diets (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner), breakfast is the best I would say. One veg dish according to the menu and omelette or boiled eggs are available along with bread and butter or jam. Milk, cornflakes and sprouts are also available. Students are provided with everyday menus in starting which get a few changes around every 2 months or so. Hostel and mess are affordable I would say as it won't cost you anything less than this anywhere else. LNMIIT is a residential college and it is situated on the outskirts of Jaipur so there aren't many pg resources available.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
