To get into this college you have to give an entrance exam named ComedK. There are no reservations. All students are of general quota. You can apply for the entrance exam online. And paper is conducted online.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Btech in CSE because the placement of the tech branch of this college is good. The faculty is also good but strict at the same time. You need at least 40% to get a pass or be eligible for next semester. All the facilities are very good and qualified.

Internship opportunities are provided by the college itself which is necessary to do for all years of students. For this year's first years students, it is necessary for an internship program provided by the college itself.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is very good for the academic year 2023 highest placement is 43 lpa given by twilio. And average is around 8-9 lpa for the tech branch. I get into this college only to get placed. The percentage of students who get placement is above 95%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for academics are around 2.5 lakh per year and there is no such scholarship provided by a college so roughly you have to pay around 10 lakh for your complete degree and around 5 lakh for the hostel and mess and all other things.

Campus Life

Sports are good but not at that level for competition and all other things. There are a lot of technical and non-technical clubs. Clubs are really good you may get a reason to spend your time in your college life and make memories.

Hostel Facilities

For the hostel, you have to pay fees of 75000 per year. And if you want to live outside the college then you will easily get a room at a rental cost of 2500 pe month and tiffin services at 2500 per month and there are a lot of pg services near the college for rent around 6000-7000.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
