Admission process was smooth. I gave CET entrance exam and opted few colleges in manglore. Luckily I got seat in canara engineering college in information science branch. We had less fees compared to management seats.

Since computer and information science jobs are trending I choose information science.We had internal exams every month and an average of 3 exams was considered for final internal marks. And we had external exam for at the end of every semester. Exams and easy to crack and it depends on how we prepare. Faculty is friendly and efficient.

Internship opportunities are provided for students from 2 nd year itself. College provides intenship as well as encourages students to attend intenships outside too. In fourth year companies provide intenship with an average stipend of 10k.

College provides a vast placements. An average of 3.5 lakh package is availed by most of students. Highest of 10 lakh package is provided to few students every year. Top MNCs like wipro,Tcs, infosys and other companies attend our college every year.

Cost of study is not too high. Students prevailing hostel facilities may feels fees is high. There are various scholarships provided for students. Placements are good in college. 95 percentage of students are placed in good companies.

Our college gives equal importance for fest and other funtions. But tech fest and competitions are not given that much importance. Classrooms are good. Library and cyber is provided for students. There are various clubs and other websites which are handled by students

Hostel facility is good. Provides students a healthy environment and good place for studying. Ragging is strictly avoided in college as well as in hostel. Food facility is average. Registration for hostel is easy. We just have to inform college while joining.
