Remarks

I got into CBIT through TS EAMCET carrying a 9893 rank. The application form for TS EAMCET can be found on Google. I got a scholarship on a Merit basis. Regarding scholarship under Merit, the people who get below 10k rank have availability of scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to get overall exposure to the IT industry. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. The teaching quality over here is quite good. Might need improvement. We have 2 mids per semester and at the end, we have sem exams. Sem exams are very difficult to score the highest grade but can pass it if we read enough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 184000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In college, we have internship opportunities. We even have paid internships that students can avail of from 1st semester itself. We do projects at the end of every semester. The outcomes make students get more experience regarding projects.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from the 4th semester itself. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Oracle etc., visit the college. The highest package is 54LPA whereas the average package is 10LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed. I would like to opt for higher studies after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1 year are 1,84,000, the hostel fee is 70,000 and the bus fee is 40,000. Under Merit, the scholarship name is Epass, they get a full fee waiver for the entire course. If people have any scholarship or reservation with caste, they can avail of that.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called SHRUTHI and the tech fest is called sudhee, they are usually conducted in the month of March. All course-related books and journals are available in the library. We have wide exposure to sports and clubs. CBIT almost contain 25-30 clubs.

Placement Experience:

My Experience at BVRIT

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good at our college, 85% of students get placed evry year. The highest package offerd was 59 LPA by microsoft. Average package is around 4.5 LPA. From 3rd year 2nd semister students are eligible for placements. I secured a good placement.

Navigating College Life

Placement Experience:

The highest package in our college is 17.5lakhs per annum. Most of the students from first year itself are joining interships and getting worthy experince. The placements started for the students of third year where the talented ones also get in second years where they can join the jobs right after their graduation. The percentage of students getting placements varies according to the companies offering the job, most of them have 7gpa.many companies like accenture take regular interviews for our college. As I am a first year student, I plan on attempting gate exam or government exams like groups.

Know CBIT

I applied to CBIt through EAMCET, and the same way I have opted few other colleges also like vnr, vasavi but my first priority was cbit and I got in, but the thing is I wanted CSE at CBIT but due to my rank that is 2633 I hot IT, and one thing I suggest is go for councilling until last round, because there is a high chance that you will get a better college. Admission process for me was through Eacmcet councilling and from there it was all smooth and people can also come to cbit through JEE mains, percentile required would be around 91 for cse Or IT related branches.
