Remarks

I got admission through Jharkhand combined exam. Every query related to exam process fee structure etc you will get on the college's official website. There is a scholarship program run by Jharkhand government known as e Kalyan to avail scholarship facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in Computer Science that's why I had chosen this course. The exams like university exam and internal exams take place regularly according to the schedule provided by Ranchi university. All faculties are highly educated and professional.

Placement Experience

Some of the companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and TCS comes regularly to our college for placement and the average package offered by companies is 2lac per year but placement here is not that good and you might face some problems regarding placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admitted to the college my fee was 210000 for four years. There was a scholarship program run by the Jharkhand government known as e Kalyan where you get a scholarship every year to lessen the amount fee.

Campus Life

There were some fests and cultural activities that take place in our college every year and those programs are run by students of MTech and MBA and many of the students take part in those activities. Sports activities were a treat to watch.

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Since I am a diploma holder in civil engineering, I had to choose the same branch in B.Tech also. But actually I chose this college because my diploma friends were taking admission in the same college. The college needs some improvements, but the surrounding areas need more improvement.

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.
