Remarks

College has a good collection of Audio video material, NPTEL, CDs & DVDs. The library has a separate Book Bank exclusively for the high flyers. Good awesome city with happy punjabi people. I guess one has to live in punjab once. Happy culture with less tensions. Bad Politics is always there at management level so don't be in that just focus on yours.

Entrance Preview

I gave JEE entrance test and my score was good. For taking admission in this college student must have done B.tech and should have good scores.

Internships Opportunities

College arranges the internship program and summer Training / Final semester Training of B.Tech students. With a view to explore and gain industry exposure. Summer internships and Training not only help in attaining valuable practical experience but it also gives companies a chance to evaluate the candidates before giving away a permanent job offer.

Campus Life

4.5

The peaceful atmosphere in the library plays a major role in helping students concentrate and study better. The library subscribes to national and international journals, magazines and national and regional dailies to keep the students in touch with their fields of interest. The library is well furnished and can seat more than 100 students at a time in the spacious reading hall.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel or mess food facility both were good. Mine was the new hostel and now all the hostels are new along with the good quality messes. Although most of the people dont like mess but it was better than others.

Alumni/Alumna

College is working hard towards making alumini network good by organizing alumini meets but still its not that best. But can hope in future it will be good.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was average but the students were awesome. In my opinion the more depends on the individual. Faculty of this colleges is like this only. Some of the teachers were awesome and i enjoyed studying from them.

Placement Experience:

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

The Placements at Lovely Professional University(LPU) are descent overall, especially for undergraduate program like B.Tech. But for for the Masters students the placements are not good, they focus on research work only.

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.
