Remarks

The university provides us with both offline and online admission processes. I had taken admission during covid19, the phase where everyone faced the problem during admission in many universities. I took admission through the online process, so it wasn't tough for me. Anyone who passed class12 with 60% and above is eligible for the courses. It provides a lateral entry into different courses too. Interested students who want to join the university can find the application form on the ADTU website.OR they can directly approach to the university for an application form and the fee for the same is Rs500. Students with BPL card gets 100% scholarship in various courses but it's not the same for the specialisation one. Students above 85% in class12th may get a 50% or above scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Btech in cse(Cloud technology and information security). I chose this course because I have a huge interest in cyber security line plus I will get additional opportunities to know about the cloud field. The course is directly handled by the nurture. The teachers were very nice toward the student. They held two sessional exams before the end semester. The end sem exam is held online mode but we have to attend it at university.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opt for BTech in CSE(cloud technology and information security). The fee structure is a little high compared to others. My semester fee is Rs55000 and the total fee is approx 5lakhs. Since I got 93.8% in class12, I got relief of 50% tuition fees.

Campus Life

University conducts ADTU annual fest every year known as ATTITUDE in the month of February or March. This year, they brought Astha gill and Olly Esse. We have a huge amphitheatre where Attitude is held. The infrastructure of the Library is good. Though I didn't see many books that would be related to the course and helpful to the students. We have a gym and swimming pool and various sports facilities for the students. There are various clubs such as literary club, sports club, dance club and many more. We can connect with various students through the student portal. There are only a few classes with different facilities such as a projector.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not really good in our college, it is more of a research institute so it mainly focuses on PhD as PhD strength is good. Higher education is more prefered here but placement scenario is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good, with several reputed companies like General Electric, Power Grid Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, among others recruiting 94 percent of the students in the college. The placement takes place in three rounds, one testing one's aptitude, followed by an hour round, finally leading on to a technical round. Mock interview and job cracking sessions are organized regularly, both by the departments, and also the Training and Placement Cell, to prepare students for the interviews and examinations going forward. The Training and Placement Cell also provides internship opportunities at the end of third year for the students, based on their aptitude and abilities

Remarks:

I have mostly positive remarks about college except for the fact that the college is situated really far from mainstream north India. Train connectivity is not that strong to rest of country. But despite that the college is extremely good in the sense of learning, meeting new innovative minds, and of course placements and jobs.
