Remarks

My admission is based on the wbjee entrance exam and after that counseling was happening I get the seat. 12th plus PCM from the site of the college Obc quota. The college was very good all .yearly examination takes place.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a professional course in BTech electronics and communication engineering and a career-oriented course. Students' faculty ratio is about 1:40 teacher-student ratio. The qualification is BTech with 4 years min experience. I am going to appear in the BTech 4th-year exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There was self internship given in bcet various departments and from morning to 2 o clock internship was given after that there were 2 hours of classes taken by the respected teacher. There was various internship program available for various domains.

Fees and Financial Aid

The BTech fee is 95000 yearly fees and the examination fees are 2400 yearly. Early there was a yearly examination that takes place by the University The scholarship was given but due to the covid, the scholarship benefits were given in two years covid I got only a two-year scholarship.

Campus Life

My campus was too big which contains campus and the big ground and big park were also on the campus. There was near canteen for serving the students during lunchtime. There were college official groups on WhatsApp.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
