Remarks

Eligibility criteria were that the student must have passed the class 12th exam from any affiliated board. Application forms are available on the official portal http://www.du.ac.in/uploads/adm2021/index.html. Basically admission process was merit-based, Marks of the best 4 subjects were considered and if a student's score meets the cut-offs released by the college he/she is eligible to apply to that college.

I always had a keen interest in mathematics and want to pursue it further as well. The teacher and student ratio are good as well. All the faculty members have great knowledge about the subject. Exams and tests are taken frequently to keep up the pace.

Class Size: 103Course Fees: INR 9885 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for the math department is 10k (approx.) which is quite affordable for everyone. Scholarships programs can be availed by students who are extraordinary in studies, belong to particular states (different for different scholarships), and for students belonging to certain reserved categories(such as single girl child. The college has a placement cell providing jobs to students.

Campus Life

The annual fest "Srijan" is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm by teachers and students. The 3-floor library has all the books that one can think of. Each student is asked to take part in sports, NCC, or NSS in their graduation. If the requirement Is not fulfilled they might not even get their degree.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college.
