Remarks

At the time of my admission, it was merit-based. Your 12th standard marks were considered but now an entrance exam has been taken into consideration i.e. CUET (Common university entrance test) through which you get admission in your course and college of du. You easily get the application form, fee details, and all the necessary details on the official website of Delhi university. If you are under any reserved category then a special benefit of a lower cut-off is given to you. The admission process is very flexible and safe. Once you get admitted to any college you get all the details on your college's official website. And teachers are also very supportive you can directly contact her or mail your prospective college for any queries that you come across. I think the admission process goes very smoothly and quickly but you just have to check the emails, and websites of du regularly to get fresh and timely notifications.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the course B.Sc. mathematics honors as I have a real interest in maths. Choosing the course is all up to you, check the syllabus and all the necessary things which make your selection for the course easy. Teachers are very supportive in regard of the subject or any other queries that you may come up with, faculty members are helpful too in all regard, exams are conducted semester wise..mid way, class test are held by the respective teachers whose marks are added in internal assessments and exams goes very easy if you read your books thoroughly and note all the points that the teacher teaches in class, rest everything goes very smoothly.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many internship opportunities are there throughout your graduation like Younity, survey heart. You can easily find a number of internships on Internshala , tech curators according to your interests. Some of them provide a stipend in accordance with the work you do. Mostly the internships are based on business management in which you have to company's business plans on social media and bring out more students to that internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are basically starts from 3rd year pass out students but it totally depend from company to company. Some companies provide placements opportunities from 2nd year itself. Although internships start availing from 1st semester and go throughout your graduation. Placements are not that good of our college in comparison with the top colleges of DU. Not all students are placed hardly 30-40 percent of students, even you yourself have to find for the jobs . The average package goes from 5-15 LPA. After B.Sc. math's hons a lot of students choose placement opportunities, many chose to go for civil services and some goes for MBA or M.Scs. according to their needs and interests.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is like if I talk about my course i.e. B.Sc. Mathematics Hons, the fee is 30,000 for a full 3-year course. College provides a lot of internship opportunities that you get to see from 1st year itself and you get a certificate for completing the full-time internship some internships provide stipends according to the job done by the holder. Scholarships are also provided by the college, some are govt scholarships that you can find on the national scholarship portal which is a safe and trusted portal. Placements also come in college but in my college Shyama prasad Mukherjee college for women, not all students are placed, the thing is you have to search for the jobs on your own..and the companies that come provide an average package of 5 - 15 LPA

Campus Life

4

A lot of annual fests are conducted in a month or two, a large number of students take part in these tests, and different types of competitions are carried out here. The library of our college is very spacious, you can easily find several books here, question banks, syllabus books, and other novels. Some classrooms of our college are of normal size but some are very huge like in our course the strength of students is approx. 100 so we usually are seated in very spacious halls. A lot of co-curriculum activities are provided by our college. Different sports are available and a large number of students are part of it, and they usually go to practice every morning. Senior students of our college run some groups for timely updates on Delhi university. And also some provide notes for mostly all the courses, they too are a very beneficial part of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is suitable for students. The SEC ( skill enhancement) and VAC ( value addition) courses are helpful for students for their future. Which prepares well students for the real world applications. Areas of improvment are the teaching methods of professors, they should keep a polite behavior so they students can easily ask their doubts. Timings of exams are sometimes not suitable in winters it's freezing cold to go to exams in morning in December and jan months

There are many practicals i did performed in our labs which provides me experience. Almost all the apparatus are available to the students during practicals which makes it efficient to perform hard practicals easily. Exams difficulty is somtimes above average. Insufficient time during exams because the answers asked can only be explained in deep which takes longer time along with dig. Requirements.

For me this Course is best because every thing in the curriculum is just broad version of 12 th and for me the science is easiest to handle as of my interest. Its just all i wanted Yes it is good but there is a very few career option within this course so either you have to do msc from reputated college or just plan else Yeah the only worst thing about this is if you do 4th year only the you got the honours degree in specific dse course The exam happened once in semester besides the IA tests are that are easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Sc. mathematics honours curriculum as good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The syllabus is concept oriented and well strong theoretical foundations which is helpful for higher studies and competitive exams. The topics across semester is structured and this course is quite demanding and can feel intensive specially in the initial semester while the curriculum is academically, strong, incorporating more application based components could make it more better or balanced because it lacks there, and it's not more practically oriented.
