Remarks

To join into the CSE dept in our college an entrance exams like k-cet, comedy or jee mains exams can be written. The person must get a good rank below 3000 to join CSE. The admission process is very simple we carry the docs of our rank card for entrance exams and 10th and 12th marks card and TC is required for the admission process.

I have chosen this course because I'm a tech enthusiastic person. I like to explore new technology. So I opted for this course. The faculty members are very friendly to teaching and clarify the doubts. All the faculty working here and done with their PhDs. We can pass the exams by listening to all the classes. It is not too difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies like Microsoft, Intuit and Twilio and other companies will provide the internship opportunity. Requirements: To demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

Placement Experience

From the 6th sem the students are eligible for placements. The companies like Amazon, shell, Cisco, grow, red bus, kpit and many other companies will come to our college. The highest package of this year is 30lpa and the average package is around 7lpa. Approx 90% of the students will get placed on the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is like 230000 who came through comedk entrance exam and the persons who come through k-cet the fee will be around 80000. The people of Karnataka can apply for ssp scholarship. Others can apply in the national scholarship portal.

Campus Life

The annual fest conducted in our college is Halcyon and it will be for 3 days which is conducted once a year. The tech fests like IEEE and Browse and many others will be conducted. All the latest books are available in the library. There are various kinds of clubs.

Hostel Facilities

In the college hostel, they just provide the room, only veg food and the cot along with wifi and hot water facilities. The quality of the food is quite decent. The registration for a hostel is as simple as filling out the hostel form.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. - Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
