Remarks

It should be more smooth and in a more stepwise manner. And the administration is very good. The Eligibility is NEET marks. The staffs are supportive but a bit slow for the job. Overall the admission process was good but it took the entire day standing in the queue.

Course Curriculum Overview

Term exams were on time but due to COVID, some of them were delayed and some got canceled. Yet we managed to pass somehow. It was difficult to appear for term exams after lockdown but we passed. Passing was not that difficult. The faculties are excellent.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it's a government college, the fee structure is very minimal and affordable. Books are a bit costly if we go for standard books and stuff. Tuition fees are very affordable and the hostel is almost free(Rs 12 per month) with such a good almirah, bed, study table, and chair(all of them from GODREJ itself). State-level Scholarships for the reserved category.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted around November under the name- FRAIGMA, THE ENDEAVOUR TO SOAR Almost all the books are available in the library except some like Khurana for Ophthalmology etc. Classrooms are well equipped with central AC, whiteboard, blackboard, comfortable chairs, and a clean lecture hall. Sports are conducted annually including indoor and outdoor sports. Social group- FRAIGMA on Facebook.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are well painted, spacious and each student is provided with a personal cot, mattress, study table, chair, and almirah, all of these from GODREJ itself. Food is not that good, but we have options other than the hostel mess and good restaurants nearby to chill out and have good food.

Hostel Fee: INR 144 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

RGMCH: A COLLEGE WITH LOTS OF EMOTIONS

Eligibility for the MBBS course is NEET exam.application form for NEET exam can be availed in NTA website. Application fees is Rs. 1700/-. General-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates are required to pay Rs. 1600/-. For SC, ST, PH, and Third gender candidates, the examination fee is only Rs. 1000/-.Under the AIQ, 15% of the total seats in government medical colleges across the country and rest 85% is from state quota. 10% OBCA , 7% OBC B , 10% EWS, 15% SC and 6% ST reservation is there.My admission was in the year 2022 , admission process was smooth. It was made easy through helpful seniors. The marksheet , certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate and other identity cards were required. After that those were verification in the students' section. Admission process is improving continuously through students' support. Each year 100 students are taking admission in MBBS course. Raiganj medico

Eligibility of the course is 50 percent in the 12th board. I found the application form from nta website. I went to a cyber cafe and did my fill-up. Application fees are 1500 rs. No benefits of my reservation are found to me, there is only a 1 or 2 marks difference between the general quota and obc cut-off. I want some improvement in the admission process in MBBS that the reservation system should be deducted....Read More
